A Twist of Water

The Chicago Tribune names our show as ‘One to Watch!’

Posted by A Twist of Water on January 4, 2011

The Chicago Tribune’s ON THE FRINGE WINTER GUIDE: Your best bets for off-Loop theater in 2011 lists A Twist of Water as one of six shows to watch for in Winter 2011!

From The Tribune’s own Kerry Reid:

“A Twist of Water” (Route 66): Former Time Out Chicago theater critic and playwright Caitlin Montanye Parrish, now a grad student in screenwriting at USC, wrote this set-in-Chicago domestic drama about a grieving gay white father, his restless African-American adopted teenage daughter, and the schoolteacher who forms a bond with both of them. Erica Weiss directs the world premiere. At Theater Wit, Feb. 17 to March 20; www.route66theatre.org
— K.R.

We are honored and excited to be listed with such phenomenal companies as BoHo Theatre Ensemble, Redtwist Theatre, The Neo-Futurists, Red Tape Theatre, and our hosts for Twist, Theater Wit!
