A Twist of Water

Posted by A Twist of Water on December 15, 2010

This February, Route 66 will present the second show of our 2010-2011 Season. We are proud to announce the upcoming World Premiere of A Twist of Water, written by Caitlin Montanye Parrish, co-created with and directed by Erica Weiss. But we need your support to make it possible. WE HAVE UNTIL DECEMBER 31st to raise $6500! By making a small contribution and sharing with your friends, we can reach that goal! If we do not hit our target, we don’t see a dime.

Visit our kickstarter project page to make a pledge of support – the cost of a cup of coffee will go a long way in helping us reach our goal.

An equity production with high production values can be expensive to produce – and Route 66 makes sure that all the artists who dedicate their time and talent to these productions, the actors and designers, are compensated for their work. Your support goes directly to the artists and the show.

Please help this production become reality by pledging $5 (or more). Your gift of any amount is tax-deductible.

Go to http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/157612440/2075563292 and watch a video of Route 66 Artistic Director Stef Tovar (also playing Noah in the production) make an impassioned case for your support of this world premiere. Then watch an awesome Chicago montage created by playwright Caitlin Montanye Parrish. Then share this link with your friends!

UPDATE: Route 66 EXCEEDED our Kickstarter goal, raising 108% of our targeted amount from 150 generous donors. Thank you so much for your contributions!

If you could not contribute to Kickstarter in time, there are still ways to help this production! The Kickstarter goal only accounts for a quarter of our overall budget! See HERE to find out more!
